Bowlive III - Soulive Kicks Off 10 Night Run at Brooklyn Bowl

In what is probably my top favorite musical event of the year, 2012 Bowlive III completely surpassed my expectations. I love to kick-off the first of 10 nights with camera in hand and Brooklyn Bowl deviled egg shooters in the other (You HAVE to get them at Blue Ribbon inside the Brooklyn Bowl). Special guest, Luther Dickinson brought the band to the crossroads of Dirty Nasty Guitar Avenue and Sick Southern Swamp Street. Soulive Kicks Off Historic 10 Night "Bowlive" Run at Brooklyn Bowl

Funk-Soul-Groove-Jazz Masters, Soulive kicked off a historic 10 night run at Brooklyn Bowl last night. The Bowery Presents promised special guests each night, last night featured Vernon Reid on guitar from Living Colour and Nigel Hall from Lettuce. Charlie Hunter, Warren Haynes, Q-Tip, and many more will be sitting in with Soulive over the next 2 weeks. You definitely want to visit the incredible Brooklyn Bowl music club.
