Bowlive III - Soulive Kicks Off 10 Night Run at Brooklyn Bowl

In what is probably my top favorite musical event of the year, 2012 Bowlive III completely surpassed my expectations. I love to kick-off the first of 10 nights with camera in hand and Brooklyn Bowl deviled egg shooters in the other (You HAVE to get them at Blue Ribbon inside the Brooklyn Bowl). Here's a super cool series of photographs that really capture the intensity of Soulive. Special guest, Luther Dickinson brought the band to the crossroads of Dirty Nasty Guitar Avenue and Sick Southern Swamp Street. Just in Time for Chanukah, Matisyahu Plays the Brooklyn Bowl with Largest Disco Dreidel Ball

American hasidic jewish reggae musician, Matisyahu, delivered his eclectic blend of traditional reggae, rock and hip hop beat-boxing sounds to the sold-out crowd at the Brooklyn Bowl last night. Not only was it his tour-opener to kick-off Chanukah's Festival of Light, but the show itself was a feast of light. At the center of the room, spun what seemed like the world's largest disco dreidel ball. Check out some of these cool shots...
