On Father's Day this year, not only did I have an incredible day with my family at the Sands Beach Club in Atlantic Beach, but I had photo fun with Bokeh (Bokeh describes the appearance, or "feel," of out-of-focus areas in the background of your images. Bokeh is not how far something is out-of-focus, bokeh is the character of whatever blur is there). I made a few of these images by stitching up to 18 images together to create a wide angle image with the depth of field using 85mm 1.4 aperture. Thanks to the super awesome Brenizer Method, you can achieve the ultra shallow depth of field in a wide angle panaroama.
Here are some nice shots playing with my new 85mm 1.4 - LOVE this lens! Happy Father's Day to Me
The night before the arrival in New York of Hurricane Irene, I zipped out to the Hamptons to photograph one of my favorite clients. There were many amazing shots, but had to get this sweet shot onto the blog to share. Wow, look at that sunset!
Before the sunset, we had a beautiful black and white series:
Picture if you will...an impeccable sunset, gorgeous East Hampton Bay. Add a beautiful budding little family and a rascally little Remington - and you have a recipe for gloriously fun photographs!
Being a father keeps on getting better and better - and the joy JJ brings to us is beyond compare. We kicked-off summer 2011 celebrating Jonah's birthday at the beach and had a sunset photo shoot that was fantastic! Jonah, I love you and am so proud of you - you are the best son a father could have!
Some summer nights are just grand aren't they? Last week I photographed beautiful Emily in Atlantic Beach under the glorious golden sunset light. Emily was an angel and the reults of the shoot are pretty amazing. Check out some of these highlights:
