March 2011 NY Family Cover with Katie Brown

It was an honor to photograph Katie Brown at her workshop in Red Hook for the cover of this month's New York Family magazine. She was a true class act - and incredibly fun and playful in front of the camera. Katie Brown is the host of PBS's cooking, crafting and gardening show "Katie Brown Workshop;" author of a handful of books on entertaining, and frequent guest on "Good Morning America" and "The Today Show."

Spring 2011 Fashion Shoot for New York Family

Styled by Shopping & Style Director, Joy Sherwood and shot on location at the brand new Azure, the petite models at this spring's fashion shoot played it cool. So cool - I mean just look at our little guy in the leather jacket. Love this kind of photo assignment! Here's the link to the New York Family slideshow of images.

New York Family Cover - Feb. 2011 with Fashion Designer Lela Rose

Connecting with fabulous fashion designer Lela Rose was so easy - we both have the mutual love of biking around New York City! When I pulled up to her amazing Tribeca apartment for the 5th anniversary February 2011 cover photo shoot, I saw this incredible over-sized tricycle outside her door and I smiled before even walking in the door. Her Texas-sized charm won us all over and her beautiful children were great sports! Their apartment is a reflection of Lela's creative spirit. New York Family June Cover - Maurice DuBois

Check out the featured "Big Story" in this month's New York Family magazine. I had the pleasure of photographing Maurice DuBois for the cover and he was a true gentleman and class act. His son Brandon was the biggest smiler you've ever seen and his wife Andrea was so nice. Even though the focus was on the cover shot, we treated the morning like a "walk in the park" which gave the overall vibe of the images a super relaxed and fun feel.

Cover Photo for New York Family's New Parents Resource Guide

Here's a beautiful photograph I captured for the New York Family "New Parents Resource Guide." Read the story here - it's is a special publication devoted to expectant and new parents (infant to toddler) in New York City. It features articles on everything from creating a birth plan to choosing a stroller to how couples can become successful "partners in parenting," along with an extensive directory of local resources for parents.

New York Family June Cover

Check out this month's New York Family magazine. I photographed the cover of InVite Health's owner Steve Kornblatt with his family in Carl Shurz Park for the Father's Day / Summer issue. I really like this image as it really shows the lush summer green of the park with the sweeping staircase in the background. Steve's family was really so much fun to work with - we were laughing the whole time and the cover shot shows off their good cheer.

Supermodel Eden Jurick in this month's New York Family

Eden Jurick stars as a kids supermodel for this full page ad in this month's New York Family magazine. She rocks.
