Carnival at Night

Almost a decade ago was the last time that I was on top of a ferris wheel. Since my kids are at sleep-away camp right now, I'm feeling a bit nostalgic about the ole' days when they were little and we'd ride the ferris wheel. I dusted off this photograph and it struck me as a beautiful night time scene. I've given it a new lease on life with painted tonalities. I really like the finished look.

HDR Photography in Israel - Fish Market After Dark

While in Israel this summer, we did a bike tour of Jerusalem after dark. It was a really cool way to see so much of the city - from Sunset overlooking the Old City, to the closed fish market after dark. I shot these images with a vision of getting a gritty urban look, something you don't really associate with Jerusalem. I think they came out pretty cool. Enjoy!
