Charlie Dane 2012

It was another thrill to photograph Charlie Dane in the studio last week. When you work with someone you respect and admire, it ups the ante on how much passion you put into your craft. We had a blast and when Charlie performed a mini-set near the end of the shoot, well, things just don't get any better than that. I'm such a big fan and know Charlie has such a great career ahead of her. Here's a link to her website to check her music.

Charlie Dane Releases "Dreamland" - with My Photo Cover

Superstar-in-the-making, Charlie Dane, has released "Dreamland", her first full length CD that she's been working on since she was 10 years old. It was recently announcmed that Charlie Dane, the 13 year old Oyster Bay NY born singer/songwriter , will be joining the already stellar lineup for the 8th annual Mountain Jam Festival at Hunter Mountain, NY happening from Thursday, May 31 through Sunday, June 3, 2012.

Ladies & Gentlemen...Charlie Dane

Last Thursday night right around sunset, in the hippest, most exciting part of New York City, I photographed the brightest rising music star...Charlie Dane. Charlie is an 11 year old singer, guitarist and songwriter who is just the coolest little girl - with a huge voice and guitar chops to match. We were shooting to get headshots (and maybe an album cover?) for Charlie, and I have to say that I'm quite proud of the way these images turned out. Charlie is simply stunning!
