Photo Essay in Downtown Chic

Last week I had the opportunity to turn Emily into the coolest hippest downtown city girl this side of the Hudson river. We were an awesome team - hitting some of the coolest and colorful spots in the meatpacking district. There were so many great shots that editing down to a few for a blog post was really hard to do. The Derek Trucks Band - Wellmont Theater - 3.25.09

Last night I ventured out to the beautiful Wellmont Theater to see The Derek Trucks Band. It was the first time seeing Derek Trucks together with his own band (outside of the Allman Brothers). This was *his* material and he played it with that heart-wrenching, soul-aching slide of his that makes you feel the power of the blues greater than almost any guitarist living today.
