2009 Taste of Tennis - U.S. Open Kickoff Event

The 10th annual Taste of Tennis event is the only event in the world where you can sample sensational food prepared by world class chefs and rub elbows with world's greatest professional tennis players! This is the official U.S. Open kickoff event at the W Hotel where guests chill in interactive lounges, sip signature rum cocktails, groove to great music and mingle with celebrities like Bethenny Frankel, Hanna Strorm, Melissa Joan Hart & Carlos Delgado.

Andy Roddick, Fernando Gonzalez, David Ferrer, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Vera Zvonareva, Nicolas Kiefer, Aleksandra Wozniack, Chandra Rubin, Brad Gilbert, Sam Groth, Jamila Groth were all on hand to serve up the incredible food for this great cause - with proceeds going to the Food Bank for New York City provide meals for needy New Yorkers.

AYS Sports Marketing produced the first class event that is always the hottest ticket in town.

Winner Best Family Photographer in NYC 2009 - Michael Jurick Photography

Whoo-hoo! Today, I was presented with the award for best NYC family photographer 2009 by Nickelodeon's Parents'Picks! This is incredibly exciting and I genuinely thank each and every one of you who voted for me - and especially to those who made voting for me part of their morning routine! This contest was a testament to the power of cyber marketing and social networking - the good word about my photography even reached my close friends & family down in São Paulo, Brasil and reached the other side of the planet in Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan. I hope that you had a chance to review my portfolio and find that my photography work had a little bit to do with the award as well ;)
